Bushra Elzubeir

Bushra graduated from Anglia University before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford. He then completed his training contract with a large Essex-based law firm, where he gained extensive experience within the fields of General Litigation and Immigration Law. Bushra joined Kerseys in April 2007 as an Assistant Solicitor within the Litigation Department.
Bushra has written articles for newspaper publications on commercial law and is a panel member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Bushra acts for some large firms in commercial disputes involving considerable sums of money. He also provides proactive and reactive advice on commercial agreements, mis-selling of financial products, intellectual property issues, insolvency, negligence, personal injury and defamation. Bushra is a believer in alternative dispute resolution; he adopts a chameleon-like style to litigation and often manages to settle disputes by negotiation, without recourse to Court action.
Bushra provides advisory and litigation services to employers and employees alike. Bushra has brought successful employment proceedings for individuals litigating against several nationwide companies with multi-million pound turnovers. He deals with unfair dismissal, discrimination, Transfer of Undertakings, unlawful deduction of wages, equal pay, restrictive covenants, compromise agreements, director's service agreements and terms and conditions.
Bushra is our resident immigration practitioner and provides advice both to companies and individuals on most issues relating to the migrant workforce and also deals with family applications for entry clearance to the UK. He has developed a specialism of advising on managing the migrant workforce within the context of UK employment legislation.
