Colin Adamson
Associate
Colin joined the firms' Litigation Department in June 2005 and is an experienced litigator and employment lawyer. He is also the Head of the Employment Department.
He originally graduated with a degree in biology and worked as a teacher for a number of years. He then studied at the College of Law in London. Since graduating, he has trained with Lawfords in London and worked for a legal services company in Essex.

Colin has written employment law articles for various professional publications and has special expertise in:
Colin has acted in several large commercial disputes involving sums as high as £250,000.As an employment lawyer, Colin frequently appears in the Employment Tribunal. He can also assist with drafting employment contracts and compromise agreements.As a Duty Solicitor at Ipswich County Court, Colin regularly represents tenants facing possession proceedings. He has also acted for landlords seeking possession of properties.Colin is a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.Colin heads up the Debt Recovery Service at Kerseys. A discounted service is offered for the recovery of small debts.Road Traffic LawColin's expertise in this area includes tachograph offences and driver's hours.
Personal interests
When he wants to unwind, Colin rides a Ducati motorbike, or plays the guitar. He is a keen musician, having played in various local bands and taught music at the University of Essex. He has also taught biology at secondary school and sixth form college. Colin has a keen interest in archaeology and is studying history with the Open University.
