Kimat graduated from Leicester University in 1999 with degree in Law and Economics. He completed the legal practice course at the London College of Law before working in the commercial department of a major City law firm. Kimat returned to his home town of Ipswich to complete his formal training, qualifying as a solicitor in 2003. Personal interests
Kimat enjoys a variety of sporting activities and works closely with the local community on a number of voluntary projects. He speaks Punjabi, Hindi and conversational Urdu.
