Commitment to the profession
Miranda takes a keen interest in the politics of the solicitors' profession. She is a past chairman of the British Legal Association and was editor of the specialist journal BLA Solicitor for a number of years. She was president of the Suffolk & North Essex Law Society 1997/98 and for several years served on the legal aid appeals committee. She has also served for two decades as area representative of the Solicitors' Benevolent Association.
